![]() More than once I've been waved back at, this is pre-csgo though as wallhacking was more normal in 1.6. looking up/down very fast in his direction. Other times when I've suspected or spotted a cheater in the other team, I've "waved" at him through the wall, ie. The whole point was to wind that 1 person up, but the rest of his teammates would just think he's whining and going crazy for losing, cus they're not dying in these blatant cheating ways. Oneshotting him through walls, smokes, instant killing him around off-angles where you wouldn't normally prefire, etc. We would pick a guy (usually the best or most toxic player on the other team), then relentlessly be blatant when shooting him. Back in my idiot-days (yes I have cheated a fair few times back in the day), we even did little mindgames with the opponents with what we called "namefucking" With ESP/wallhacking you can see the enemies names above the models. There's even whole friendgroups where they all openly cheat in some way. There is a lot more of them out there than most people think. So when you say "Nor have I seen a "closet" cheater that tries to hide their hacks.", it's basically because you can't tell the difference, and neither can anyone else with certainty. To the uninitiated, it looks like a person with a very very good aim, having one of his best days in the game. The sad truth is that today, most of the highend aimbots are virtually unspottable, not in demo reviews, not by standing behind them and watching them play, not by watching them stream. When you've spent enough time testing cheats or combating cheaters in general (I did a lot of anticheat reviewing for tournaments in the earlier days of cs and csgo), you'll pick up on the little signs of the different cheats available. It's so disguised and hard to see that if you sat down and played a game on a computer setup with that, you'd just think you were having your best game ever. With a "proper setup aimbot", i'm talking about helping you by turning those close-call whiffs into headshots. Not the blatant wallhacking newbies or people with a 360° snapping aimbot, as they will eventually get banned. Keep in mind, the cheaters that actually matters, are the ones that tries to hide it. On the other hand though, with a properly setup aimbot, a good player becomes a great player and a great player becomes borderline unstoppable. Yes there is a lot of sore losers who call cheats on everyone having a good game. The problem is that most people don't know what to look for. ![]() So my experience might not be the same for a lot of people. I play on a extremely high trust factor account in eu. Thanks All for the repliesįrom what I see in the comments is that, trust factor and server matters a lot. Do you think they were actually cheating and not just got a lucky shot on you? or just generally a good day/match?Įdit: I was not expecting this many answers so instead of going around thanking everyone for their time one by one I'm just gonna edit this post. Looking back to your own games, when you called out people to be cheating. The reason why I'm making this post is that I always have that two friends in my friend group saying that the enemy team has a "cheater" and somehow these two always manage to find this "secret cheater" on the enemy with their amazing deduction skills. Only some people who made me question my own skill a little or make me feel suspicious. Nor have I seen a "closet" cheater that tries to hide their hacks. ![]() Genuine question, I don't remember the last time I had a blatant cheater on the enemy or my team in my last 300 hours in game.
